Guest guest
Jai Sriman Narayana Asmath Gurubhyo Namaha The rerason India was defeated was that the kings (and the people) lost firm faith in God and the Sanathana VedicDharma. They might have practiced dhrama during the war such as not fighting in the night, etc., but I feel that they did not have firm faith in God. Let us take the example from puranas why Indra (and the devathas) lost to Rakshasas. Indra had a disregard for Brihaspathi the deva guru and therefore, Brihaspathi disappeared. Therefore, Indra lost. Second time, Indra had gross disregard to the prasadam (garland) of Srim Maha Lakshmi presented to him by Durvasa. Even now, the Hindus are on the loosing side, because the majority does not respect the sanathana vedic dharama. The middle class individuals (the present generation) neither offer prayers at home or do not vist the temple at least once in a month. The daily prayers to God is almost extinct in the city culture. The students go to the temple only at the time of the day of the exams, or they have pujas at home once in a year. Our enemy is praying thrice3 or six times a day for our distruction, and the destruction of our ways of life. On the other hand, we have forgotten to seek protection from the God. Our enemy is against the deity worship. Majority of us are disinterested in praying for the preservation of our relegious systems. For example, take a look at what we did during the Kargil war. How many of us have prayed (given managalasasanam) for the preservation of India and for the e4stablishment of peace. How many of our swamis, relegious leaders, etc (with exception of our beloved Chinna Jeayer swami varu) have prayed and conducted meditations, homas, etc. for the benefit of India. How many of them are involved in such activities now. I salute our beloved Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeayer Swami Varu for offereing prayers and conducting homas for the benefit of India. The majority of Indians are interested in the advancement of material wealth and are not paying any attention to the advancement of spiritual wealth. While our enemy is praying for the destruction of our temples, etc., how many of us doing daily managalsasanams for the well being of archa murthis in various divya desams?. Today, such offering of managalsasanams on a daily basis is counted as a mad man's activity. I think the answers to the original question of how India was lost, lie in the analysis of How Inidia is being lost. Jai Sriman Narayana With All Glories to Lord Sri Venkateswara, I remain, Sincerely Narender Reddy
