Guest guest
Sri Krishna Parabrahmane Namaha!! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale:Saranam!! Yasoda was getting angrier for his mischievous nature but never doubted that He could be Bhagavan. He was her son, so she was trying with love to correct him with punishment. She was sweating. All her hair came down loose and became entangled. Her sari pleats were disturbed. But she did not stop her trials to bind him. Bala Krishna saw this. He pitied his mother. He was happy for her efforts. His 'Aiswaryam' one side and her love the other side were competing. Swami is 'Bhaktha Vatsala'. He withdrew his affluence. He submitted to her rope and obliged to be tied. Oh! Swami! How strange is your leela!. You are the Supreme! You are not under anyone's control. You have all these loka:s and their rulers under your control. This incident was surprising all those who could witness and those who later learnt of this episode that such powerful 'YOU' surrendered to be tied by an 'abala'. Neither Brahma nor Siva, not even Lakshmi who never dwells away from His Divine body were blessed with such fortune. It is Bhagavan who relieves the souls of their 'karma bondage'. That Bhagavan is not easily attainable by jna:nis, yo:gis or 'karma nishta:s' But for those bhaktha:s who believe in Him with love as the 'means' also He is 'Sulabha' Swami had shown the secret of Bhakthi in this 'Ulukhala Bandhana' episode. The mind always keeps meditating on the thing it loves. Bhagavan will be present in such thoughts. But that thought process (smarana) should continue uninterruptedly. Between one 'smarana' and the other 'smarana' one should not think of anything else. Such continuous string of thought process done with incessant love is called 'Bhakthi'. It would bind Bhagavan and keep Him before us. 'Smaranam' is a rope. Such 'smaranams' of Him are the ropes; the second rope, the third rope and so on., Yasoda did not try to bind any other thing. She tied to one another all the available ropes in her house and strived hard to tie him. Can the task be accomplished? Would this rope be enough for the task? She never doubted! The reason - her pure love- uncorrupted by 'Jna:na'. She never felt that she was doing 'it' or 'it' had any purpose. 'He had to be tied'- was the only motive of her. This should be the state of a bhaktha. 'I am the doer', 'It would serve this purpose of mine'---as long as these two feelings prevail the rope would always be shorter by 'two inches'. Those who have incessant love for Lord would witness Bhagavan's 'Soulabhyam' only. (Isn't He amazing?..) Jai Srimannarayana!! Ramanujamma Mudumbai, Ramanujadasi.
