Guest guest
Sri Krishna Parabrahmane: Namaha! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam!! The rope used for tying symbolises bhakti, means love. This love should not be for some advantage. Bhagavan cannot be bound by love that has some other thing as the means or the goal. The worn out ropes tied on the churning sticks will be replaced by the new ones. Yashoda took such discarded ropes and joined them together. This is only ananya bhakti. This love is of no use for anything else. One should abandon all other jna:na other than 'Bbhagavad a:ra:dhana'. Without reason or expectation one should love and meditate on Krishna. Those meditations are only the pieces of rope. All of them should be used only to bind Krishna. All 'smarana:s' should be about Bhagavan. One should only think of The Bhagavan that is to be tied and the action of tying Him but should not remember one's self or the tools one is using. This state is Bhakti. Bhagavan would submit to such bhakthi and He Himself to be tied. This episode elucidates this secret. Yaso:da left Bala Krishna tied to the stone in the backyard. Many more great souls experienced more of God's Saulabyha in this incident. Krishna contracted his stomach to be tied by Yasoda. She, fearing the thief might slip off, tied tightly one end of the rope to the stone and other end round his stomach and then tied the two ends again tightly. Threatening him with a stick in her hand Yasoda told Krishna,"Let us see your strength, run if you can". She commanded the boy, who was lying on the floor crying, not to cry. He stopped crying loudly but could not control moaning heavily. His nostrils, cheeks and jaws started trembling. He was lying on his belly in the mud beside the grinding stone. In the Dravida Sampradaya, Sattagopa Muni visualized this incident: "Swami! how great is your soulabhyam! Being the Almighty, You were punished! Being the "sakala jeeva moksha prada" You were bound by someone! Being unable to cry loudly, lying on the floor, were You feeling breathless? Wasn't all this the result of your submission to Yasoda's love? We can't bear seeing this much of Your accessibility" Thus experiencing, Sattago:pa muni fainted and was unconscious for six months. Many great bhakta:s had experienced this feeling when they went through Sri Krishna Divya Charita. Kunti Devi wondered, that the 'fear' Sri Krishna Swami pretended that day was scaring the real FEAR'itself and was herself astonished at His pretence. So wonderful is the divya leela in this episode of ulu:khala bandhanam. O:m Haraye: Namaha! O:m Haraye: Namaha! O:m Haraye: Namaha! Jai Srimannarayana!
