Guest guest
Sri Krishna Parabrahmane: Namaha! Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam!! Ullu:khala Bandhanam: There on the pounding stone, feeding a monkey some butter with all smiles, stood the butter thief. He was looking here and there frightened that his mother might beat him. Trying her best to protect him from being blamed by the world and to lessen his naughtiness, threatening him lovingly with a stick, Yasoda started going towards him. He saw this. He jumped off from the stone as if in great fear, and started running away. Yasoda ran after him to catch hold of him. What a wonder! One who can not be caught even by the mellowed hearts of yogis after years of severe penance is sought to be caught by an 'abala'(an ordinary woman). There he was running and she chasing him from behind. She, with her slim waist was running fast, and because of that her hair knot became loose and the flowers started dropping from her hair. She was sweating heavily. Bala Krishna who committed the mistake was crying before his mother with fear rubbing and wiping his blackened eyes. Looking back and forth, he was running fast. Some how she caught hold of him. Unable to beat him, she threatened him verbally. Seeing her son tremble on seeing the stick in her hand, worrying that nothing should happen to him, Yasoda threw off the stick. The innocent mother, knowing nothing of his greatness and strength, felt that she instead of beating him, should keep him tied for some time. To tie him she did not know how much he was. That naïve woman thought he was as much as he was seen. He is the One with no beginning or ending . He has no differentiation of in or out. No scope to define this side or that side of Him. He is there on all sides and in and out this universe. He was showing in a form like a small boy in front of Yasoda. As He is present on all the things, there is nothing which is not He or anything in which He is not present. But for her to grasp the fact, he was there before her like a small boy, as 'her' son. He is Adhokshaja, He cannot be comprehended by the (jna:na ) knowledge of these senses. But her love instigated her to bind him. He agreed to be bound by her 'Love'. She brought a rope. Attempted to tie him. Thinking a small rope would be enough to tie a three old, she brought a short rope but it was shorter by two inches. She brought another one and joined with a knot to the earlier one. When she tried again that too was shorter by two inches. She did not get a doubt. Again she brought another, tied to the earlier and tried but that too was shorter by two inches. Thus she brought out all the available ropes in her house, tied them to one another but still it was not enough to tie around his waist Whatever be the number of ropes they were shorter by only two inches. He did not increase in size. His stomach did not grow. The ropes were not sufficient. Seeing this wonder the gopi:s and Yasoda were astonished. But the determination in her was getting stronger and stronger. Rest in the next posting……........ Jai Srimannarayana!! O:m Haraye: Namaha! O:m Haraye: Namaha! O:m Haraye: Namaha!
