Sri Pillai Lokacharya's Mumukshuppadi Sutra 30:

- 'sEshathvam' is defined by the praNavam

- 'pArathanthryam' is defined by the nama: and

- 'kainkaryam' is defined by the nArAyaNAya.

 

Sri PBA Swami's commentary for Sutra 30:

 

'sEshathvam' - being enslaved to the Lord

'pArathanthryam' - having no other refuge but Him and

'kainkaryam' - eternal service at His lotus feet.

 

'Seshathvam' and 'pArathantryam' together define the

nature of the jIva & 'kainkaryam' defines the goal seeked.

 

Thus the meaning of Sutra 26 is brought out in this sutra.
