Sri Vaishnava Prachara Yatra from Srivilliputtur to Vadakarai. The pada yatra will cover about 24 villages of South Tamil Nadu. The yatra will begin at Sri Andal Temple in Srivilliputtur on 11th October and reach Vadakarai on 13th October. The Yatra will be lead by Sri U.Ve Sriman “Sendamil Vediyar” Kumaravadi Ramanujachariyar Swamigal with the members of Sri Vaishnava Committees of Chennai. “Sri Sudarsana Maha Yagam” & “Brahmotsavam” to Lord Sri Tiruvengada Mudayan, at Vadakarai from 11.10.2002 to 15.10.2002. “Vadakarai” and Karappangadu are the only Bhaagawata Kshetras referred on par with 108 Divyadesams by our Purvacharyas. Sri Vaishnava Sammelanam at Vadakarai on 14th October 2002. Eminent Scholars from different parts of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka will participate and speak on various topics relevant to today’s needs to promote and propagate Srivaishnava Sampradaya at all levels. “Tirumozi Darsanam”- 10 days discourse on Periya Tirumozi of Sri Tirumangai Alwar. Sriman Dr. Varadarajan Swami, Sriman K.K.A. Rangarajan Swami from Tirupaty, and Sriman “Chentamil Vediyar” Kumaravadi Ramanujachariyar Swami, the Editor, Tirumal, Chennai and other eminent scholars will give discourse daily from 6.30 to 8.00 pm at Sri Yatiraja Muth, 11th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore. The dates: From 9.11.2002 to 18.11.2002. The upanyasams will be presided over by Sri U.Ve Sriman Komandur Ilayavalli Bhuvarahacharya Swamigal. “Divyaprabandhotsavam” Chanting of Sri Nammalwar’s four Prabandhams and Sri Tirumangai Alwar’s six prabandhams, (Naal Vedam & Aaru Angam) for two days from 19.11.2002 to 20.11.2002 at Sri Yadugiri Yatiraja Muth, 11th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore.
