Guest guest
Sri: | Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama: Kanninun Siruththambu Eighth Pasura Vyakhyana Saram Excerpted from Sri Nanjeeyar and Nampillai's Vyakhyanam Meaning: Sathakopa Muni graces the bhaktas, who celebrate His compassion and grace, by providing them the inner meanings of the Vedas so that they attain delight. That Sathakopa Muni sang the thousand verses of Thiruvaymozhi in sweet Tamil, through His grace. That act of Sathakopa Muni alone stands as a great thing in this world. Vyakhyana Saram: Madhurakavi Azhvar states that for this world, the grace of Sathakopa Muni which brought out the Thiruvaymozhi is greater than the grace of the Lord which resulted in the Veda rahasyas being brought out. In the previous pasuram, he had said that he will spread Sathakopa Muni's fame in all eight directions; he is explaining the reason here for that, that Nammazhvar's pasurams are nothing but the gist of the Vedas.
