Guest guest
Sri Krishna Parabrahmane: namaha | Srimathe Ramanujayanamaha Earlier Bhagavan had instructed Vasudeva to take Him to Nandavraja and put Him in Yasoda’s bed and bring the female baby from her bed. Accordingly Va:sude:va took his baby, held him on his head and walked out. As he was heading out, the doors which were chained and locked till then, got unlocked automatically and opened up wide. The surroundings became clear just like the darkness cleared by sunshine. That time it was raining and thundering heavily. Adise:sha was shielding the baby from the rain with his hoods. The river Yamuna, sister to Yama, was foaming and flooding the shores with high tides. Vasudeva entered such Yamuna as per Bhagavan’s instruction. Yamuna gave him way. He reached Nandavraja. There all were fast asleep. Vasudeva kept his son in Yasoda’s bed and took her daughter and walked back. He kept the baby in Devaki’s bed. He wore the chains on his legs as before. All the doors closed on their own as earlier. They were bolted again. Yaso:da and her people just came to know she gave birth to a baby but did not realise the baby’s sex and all fell asleep under the influence of ‘yo:gama:ya’. Till Vasudeva returned all were sleeping under the effect of Ma:ya. This whole story enunciates the ji:va ya:tra (soul’s journey). The soul donns this human body to attain Bhagava:n. But the guna:s of rajas and thamas obstruct our advance towards Him. With His grace one day, one would get the possibility to get out of their influence. The ruler of Mathura is Kamsa. He is a ra:jasik and ta:masik. He strives hard to keep on living. He regards it his primary goal tries to achieve even by ending the God, his kith or kin or even the infants. This is the mental state of ra:jasic and ta:masic souls. Such ‘manas’ imprisons the a:tma and 'sathwam' to keep under his control just like Kamsa, who imprisoned Devaki and Vasudeva. Bhagavan blessed them with His darshan in such a condition too due to their earlier births' good karma (punya). To be continued ...
