Guest guest
Sri:mathe: Ra:ma:nuja:ya namaha | Jeeyar Thiruvadigale: Saranam | Sugreeva had a thorough knowledge of Vali’s strength. He had enormous strength to cross the four oceans and return to his place with out any effort. He killed demon Dundubhi and flung his corpse to a distance with the tip of his foot. Sugreeva , due to his fearful nature , natural to a va:nara, doubting Sri Rama’s capabilities, informed him of Vali’s strength. Sri Rama understood that Sugreeva was doubting his valour and asked him what he should do to prove his capacity. Sugreeva showed him the body of Dundubhi which Vali had tossed away. It was like a big mountain. Seeing this, having unmatched strength and strong shoulders fit to execute what ever task he undertakes, smiling at this mean task, tossed his body to a distance of ten yojanas just with the tip of his toe. Still Sugreeva was not convinced. He felt that when Vali flung Dundubhi’s body it was heavy and Vali was tired after a strenuous battle with him But presently it dried up and became light. He could not believe that Sri Rama could kill Vali even though he pushed off Dundubhi’s body. Sugreeva was not pacified. To be continued...
