Detailed Interpretation with the poem :

1) Source : He is the reason behind the incarnations of all our AchAryAs and

AlwArs. In the past, all of them were glowing along with Him as His divine

ornaments and weapons. Then, He was the only source for their sustainance and

happiness, through His inseperable association with them. Even now, when they

have descended to this earth as our AlwArs & AchAryAs, He remains their only

source and Lord. Thus He was their Lord in the past and is their Lord in the

present.

2)The destroyer : In the future (i.e., after praLayam), all our AchAryAs &

AlwArs will continue to glow with Him as His divine ornaments and weapons. They

decorate His divine form with extreme pAratantryam (as per His wishes) and love.

Thus, He continues to be their Lord in the future also.

3) The one who is the infinite and the astonishing : As He cannot bear the

seperation from our AchAryAs & AlwArs, He comes and takes archA (idol) forms at

their places (the divya dEShams). This aspect of He having both the sovereignty

and easy accessibility to His devotees simultaneously is a most amazing rarity.

Through His extreme accessibility as the archA mUrti, He has won their hearts

and has become their Lord in the present time too.

4) The controller of nitya SurIs : Not only does He Lord over and enliven the

great souls who have descended to this earth, but simultaneously He presides

over and entertains the nitya SurIs (celestials) in the paramapadam(His divine

abode) also.
