Guest guest
(Slokas 86-88 of Sankshepa Ramayan) Sri:mathe: Ramanujayanamaha! Sri: Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam!! The devathas came to applaud SriRama on his victory. When they offered to grant a boon, they were asked to bring back to life all those vanaras who were killed in the war. All those vanaras lying dead on the war field got up hale and hearty as if from a deep slumber. Sri Rama along with Vibhi:shana, Sugreeva and others started his journey back to Ayodhya in the Pushpaka Vima:na that was won earlier by Ravana in the battle with Kubera. Sri Rama who became bright with radiance for being able to keep up the word given to his father reached the hermitage of Bharadwa:ja. He sent Hanuma to Bharatha. The fourteen year period was coming to an end. Sri Rama sent Hanuma to Bharatha to intimate him of his coming and thus to keep up his word; as he had earlier promised Bharatha that he would return on the expiry of the fourteen year period. Sri Rama narrating all the past events to Sugreeva in the ‘Pushpaka Vima:na’ reached Nandigra:ma. In the past when Bharatha came to him to Chitraku:ta , Sri Rama caused him grief by not accepting the kingdom offered by him. Today that has ended. Sri Rama shone brilliantly with out any blemish since he successfully carried out his father’s order. To be continued...! Jai Srimannarayana! Ramanujamma Mudumbai, rd.
