Thiruman represents the Lotus Feet of Lord Vishu. As vaishnavites, we wear

Thiruman on our face. I got a doubt. Why the Lord Vishnu Himself wears Thiruman

on His face?

This is one of my serious doubts. Please clarify me. Aravind S

Priya Sriman,

There's a lot to know from your poser...It's an interesting one!

Well, One thing we know for sure is that Lord of this Universe is so unmindful

of HIS ego that HE wears the symbol of HIS own feet, and that of HIS wife,

Lakshmi! HIS feet is what that guides the entire Universe, and HE is so mindful

of that, and so he watches it all the time! Also, Sri Swamiji answered it

several years ago in Bhakthinivedana magazine!

For example, Lord Krishna performed Sandhya Vandanam for the sake of HIS

devotees who couldn't do it, as also to impart the significance of Sandhya

Vandanam!

You might as well ask the following:

Why does a Shishya walk bare foot in the presence of the Guru ?

So the Shishya feels the feet firmly on the ground and very mindful of how

he/she treads.

What's the significance of One's Feet ?

If a person is clear headed about the Philosophy of their Living, thus will be

their Walk as such.

Whatever we learn needs to go down as THE essence, to become ONE's feet, at

least symbolically!

" Walk thy Perfection."

Just my thoughts!
