Guest guest
(Slokas 89-94, 1st Sarga - Ba:la Ka:nda of Sri Valmiki Ramayan ) Sri:mathe: Ramanujayanamaha! Sri: Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam!! Such Sri Rama joined his brother in Nandigra:ma and got his matted hair locks removed. Though he was with Lakshmana till then, he felt the happiness of his togetherness with all his brothers only after he met Bharatha and Satrughna. Sri Rama along with Sitha was coronated . He regained his Sita who was away from him for one year and regained his kingdom also that away from him for fourteen years and made everyone happy. Seeing Rama thus, the whole world was delighted; elated and thrilled; was mentally contented. The world that looked worn out till now, became lively. Though all were duly practicing their dharma till then, they all became more virtuous. Practice of dharma coupled with Ra:ma-bhakthi is ‘sudharma:charanam’. The whole world was devoid of physical illnesses and mental sicknesses. There were no famines when Sri Rama was the ruler. There was no need for anyone to beg. No sons pre-deceased the parents. No wife had to grieve the death of her husband. The ladies were always devout to their husbands. They were faithful and compatible to their husbands all through. There was no fear of fire accidents. No one died of drowning. There were no gale storms. There was no fear of hunger or fever or thieves. All the people in towns and cities flourished with abundant food grains. The people in the Thre:tha:yuga lived with as much happiness as the people in the Kritha yuga. Thus Ramara:jya flourished with abundance in all respects. Sri Ramachandra became very popular for his perfect administration. He performed hundreds of Aswame:dha Yagas bestowing large donations. Thus he also performed 'bahu suvarNakam krathuvu' many times. To be continued... Jai Srimannarayana! Ramanujamma Mudumbai, Ramanuja Daasi
