Guest guest
Jai Sriman Narayana Sri Krishna Parabrahmane Namaha This is the translation of explanation of this week's Githa Jyothi sloka graced by HH Sri Tridandi Jeeyar Swami in Bhakti Nivedana math karma kruth math paramo: mad bhakthas sanga varjithaha | nirthvairas sarva bhu:the:shu yassa ma:me:thi pa:ndava || pandava: = Arjuna: mathkarmakrith = who performes his duties as my 'aaraadhana' mathparamaha = who has only Me as the main goal madbhakthaha = who thinks of Me with utmost devotion sangavarjithaha = who has no connection with anything else other than Me alone sarvabhuutheshu = in all beings nirvairaha = has no enmity yaha = whoever he is saha = that one mam = Me prapno:thi = is attaining Me. This human life is awarded to us to do our work. A person who gets a job in a town, goes there to do his job and he has to perform the duties pertaining to his job in that place as long as he holds that job. Similarly, the goal of coming into this human body is to travel towards Him who had provided us with this body -- utilizing this body. Bhagavad Gita tells us 'who He is' that gave us this body. There are many darSanas. There are many reachers. They taught numerous different theories. But in Gita Lord Krishna said, "I provided the body to the soul.aham beejapradaha pitaa", "I made this prakrithi change into a body, gave a human form and it was I who fixed a ji:va in that body." As the human body is the best means to get rid of the great loads of karma earned through the numerous janmas Bhagava:n has provided the ji:vas with the human body. But the ji:va can get his karma wiped out or can get it piled up too with his way of life. A human body is so great. When you know how you are doing a thing and why you are doing it; then that awareness will not allow the deed stick to you. It will also burn all the pracheena karma into ashes. Even if there is a large heap of cotton, if we drop a small speck of fire in it, the whole cotton gets burnt. In the same way, if we know how to perform our karma and do it in the correct manner, that will wipe out all our age-old Pa:pa. What we have to do is to keep the divine name of Bhagavan in the temples of our hearts. That has been said by the Lord in the 55th sloka of the 11 chapter. adiyen ramanuja dasaha Vamsi Mudumbai
