Dear bhagavathOthamas,

This is a very special day. Today is the 70th thirunatshatram of revered

acharya, HH Sri paramahamsEtyAthi Vanamamalai kaliyan rAmAnuja Jeeyer swamy

(prakrutham peedhAdhipathi of Vanamamalai mutt, 30th pattam). Swamy's greatness

cannot be explained by words. We, in US by the parama krupa of Lord

Parthasarathi and goda piratti have been immersing ourselves in the divine

nectar of swamy's upanyasams over the tele-bridge for the past few months. Each

week we spent expecting the sunday "mumukshupadi" kalashepam time to enjoy

hearing the divine rahasya arthas from the mouths of our acharya which was our

great bhakhyam (couldnt have obtained the same even if we were in India).

In Ramayana, both perumal and piratti feel that they have been indebted to

anjaneya and could never do anything equal to the help he has done. In our

sampradayam, each and every acharya is supposed to be in the position of

thiruvadi. When perumal and piratti cannot do anything for the favour the

acharya has done to them what can we jeevatmas do? Still it is our prime duty

to atleast celebrate the thirunatshatram of our acharya whereever we are,

reciting his thaniyans, following his words and meditating on the kalyana gunas

of the acharya and ofcourse the divine arthas taught by him to us, to lead us in

the right path (dvayam).

On this occasion we would like to let all shisyas and Aptha bandhus know that we

would be meeting swamy in the first week of december to submit the sambhAvana

for mumukshupadi kalashepam and also the amount given by various bhagavatas here

for the ennakAppu utsavam in vanamamalai divya kshetram.

Let us sincerely pray to the divine couples to give their mangalasasanams to

swamy to shower many many more divine arthas on we baddha jeevatmas and lead us

in the sattivaka path.

Jeeyer thiruvadigalE sharanam

Adiyen,

Varadaraja rAmAnuja dAsan

Sumithra rAmAnuja dAsee.
