Guest guest
Sri Krishna Parabrahmane Namaha! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam! Yasoda and others gathered round baby Krishna. All the cowherd boys at the scene started saying, “ O ur baby kanna just stretched his leg. It hit the cart and it fell to pieces.” “What is this ? A baby ? Hitting the cart and breaking it into pieces? Meaningless! We should not believe small children’s words.” Saying thus they could not believe their words. They couldnot understand that child’s strength. Unless witnessed, one cannot realize Bhagavan’s mysterious ways with one’s intelligence or commonsense. Yasoda took the crying baby into her hands. They were afraid that some evil had caught him She called the priests and asked them to bless the baby. She fed the baby. The Brahmins did homams and blessed him using the holy water and auspicious rice. The blessings of pure souls would never go waste. They brought holy waters mixed with o:shadhis and bathed him reciting Ruk, Yaju and Sa:ma mantras. They served a sumptuous feast for all the priests and the people. Nanda and Yasoda donated many decorated cows for their son’s well being. Mantravettas also blessed him. This is ‘Sakatasurabhanjana’ episode. In this the baby hits the cart and the cart gets destroyed. Let us know its secret. Bhagavan came down as a small child. If we think of his leelas, His effortless actions , then we will reap the desired fruit for taking this birth. This human birth is granted to know Bhagavan and love Him and to attain Him. The obstacle for this is ‘avidya’. That is ignorance, thinking this body as ‘I’ and regarding what ever belongs to this as ‘mine’. We cannot come over it on our own. If we love Bhagavana; visualizing Him if we worship Him then the ‘avidya’ which -without our effort or wish which obstructs us from reaching Him - would disappear. That is Puthana:moksham. We are doing every thing with ignorance. We feel that all these belong to us only. We do various things out of which some are permitted and some forbidden acts - papa and punya. ` More later...
