Guest guest
Sri Krishna Parabrahmane Namaha! [This is the translation of Gita Jyothi Week No.32 {last week's} Sloka graced by our Sri Sri Sri Jeeyar Swami in Bhakthi Nivedana] If we are shown a temporary solution to what has to be done now to come over a problem then we call it buddhi. When the buddhi flowers and rises to a level at which it would be able to think of a blissful state then we call it ‘prajna’. But we sometimes turn it into ‘mathi’. Or else we try to use it as ‘buddhi’ ; means, whenever we confront a problem we try for instant solutions and come over it and again we get into another problem and we employ the same procedure. We always do that way. We generally see - a guy borrows five rupees and when that fellow compels him to repay, this man goes to another man borrows ten rupees from him, pays back the five and enjoys the remaining five. If this person accosts him he will borrow twenty five rupees from some body else and repay the debt. His way of life goes on like this borrowing and swallowing. Things happen this way when it is the ‘buddhi state’. When it progresses to a state of ‘prajna’ then it becomes a strong ‘adhyavasa:yam’. Then it would be strongly fixed like deep fixed unmovable pole. It is called ‘prajna’. Sri Krishna is saying “ Keep your manas in Me. Envisage Me alone in your manas. Enhance it as ‘prajna’. I will take care of every thing you desire. You need not have any doubt.” Lord Krishna is saying that in this sloka that He would take care of all those things. ‘mayye:va mana a:dhathsva’ there is Krishna in front of Arjuna. He is there, approachable to devotees. He is there as Sarva Jaganna:tha. In the earlier chapter He said this. Though He is the SarvaJagathka:rana He is not there as inaccessible He is there as the Most Accessible. He is elated for the smallest offering. Still if He does not grant what is required what’s the use? No, He is there as the Supreme Giver of our wishes – what ever they are! So He is easily reachable to ‘Aradhana’. He can give all fruits. He is the ‘Ka:ranam’ for everything. Such ‘mayi’ = in Me – says Krishna. He is in front of Arjuna that day. Presently Bhagavan is there in the vigraha for our sake. Since we mentioned ‘Subha:Srayam’ it can be of gold, silver, bronze, copper or wooden or of any other substance.’ Make that the Subha:Srayam and you try to ask from there ‘, He said. ‘Mayye:va mana a:dhathsva’= fix your mind on Me. Means what? Have Me in your mind. ‘mayi buddhim nive:Saya’. Have belief that I am the Protector who can give what all you want. Have the confidence that “I am the most Competent” and “ I can be attained.” Jai Srimannarayana, adiyen ramanuja dasaha Vamsi Mudumbai
