Sri Krishna Parabrahmane Namaha:

[ This is the translation of Gita Jyothi Week No.33(last week) Sloka graced by

our Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami Varu in Bhakthi Nivedana ]

In general, if we utter the name of some people all are overcome with fear. Just

like children who used to panick when Kamsa's name was uttered, the Rishis who

panicked when anyone uttered HiranyaKashipa's name, even if a name is uttered

people are enveloped with fear. If one doesn't turn into such a person thats

good enough, that is, when someone utters our name none should be filled with

fear, such should be our behaviour - "yasma:th no: dvijathe: lo:kaha".

There are other people in the world who afraid to come out into the open. Their

own acts create fear of the world around within them. We come across names of a

number of terrorists in today's world. They create fear within the world and

create fear within themselves. Infact people who create fear in others shouldn't

be afraid of anything.

However because of some of the extreme acts they commit, they are in constant

hiding, moving from cave to cave and pit to pit. What kind of life are they

leading ? We can't comprehend.

If the world is fearsome of an individual it reflects the acts of cruelty he is

capable of. Because of such acts there are emotions that are created within the

person- 'harsha, amarsha, Bhaya, udvega". He should be free of such emotions.

"harsha" reflects a desire to cause pain in others. When others suffer he

becomes happy. By hook or crook he wants to decimate others. When that can't be

achieved immediately,it converts into long-term hate. Consequently he can't even

stand their presence - thats "amarsham". It also creates a fear within, a

suspicion that others are all out to harm him - a small sound, a crawling

lizard, everything trivial creates inherent fear. His mind is always in constant

turmoil - thats "udvegam".

"Whoever is free of all such emotions is my favourite person". One might do good

deeds or one might not, that is acceptable, but refrain from doing anything bad.

Don't cry when you look at the world. In this manner if don't cry when you look

at the world and the world doesn't despair when it looks at you, that in itself

is great Mukthi.

But do such people even exist on this Earth ?
