Guest guest
Sri Krishna Parabrahmane Namaha! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam! We get this association with the body because of the influence of pa:pa and punya; our association with the Lord turns off. We start thinking that this body is essential. It makes us feel as if the indweller Bhagavan is not at all there. This is ‘asura bha:vana’. ‘Sakatam’ means body. ‘Sa’ means happiness that is Bhagavan; ‘kata’ means ‘that which breaks ties with Him’. Sakatam is the body that is formed due to punya and pa:pa and it never leaves the ‘ji:va’. But for the difference of ‘sthu:la’ and ‘su:kshma’ (concrete and the minute of the minutest) , the body continues to be attached till the soul reaches the lotus feet of the Lord. Like Sakata:sura , who came to get rid of Sri Krishna who arrived at Vrepalle, - this body filled with evil mindedness (asura bha:va) tries to separate us from Bhagavan who is present in us. Bhagavan not willing to leave ‘anyone’ who loves Him, touches that Sakata with His Divine Foot. Like a cart that helps one to travel from one place to another, this vehicle called body helps the soul who has been traveling since times unknown to reach his destination. When the ‘asurabhavana’ possesses one, the ‘Bhagavadbha:vana’ would vanish. Yasoda and others who loved Sri Krishna dearly got him back after He toppled the cart. He made himself available to those loved Him. Similarly for those who love Him unconditionally, He will reduce their fascination on ‘body’; and demolish the ‘Sakata’ called body that runs on the two wheels called pa:pa and punya. This is ‘Sakata:sura Bhanjanam’. More later... Jai Srimannarayana! Ramanujamma Mudumbai, Ramanuja Dasee
