Guest guest
Dear sri Srikkanth, It is extremely true that Lord krishNa is master of all fields. The Lord has got primarily two characteristics. One akin to His supremacy independence-with which He administers all the world- epitome of supremacy as mentioned by you. The other is His kaLyAna gunas which are auspicious attributes like vAtsalyam, saulabhyam, saushElyam and so on. Normally, when the Lord aministers and judges the souls as per their merits and demerits the characteristics of supremacy is primary which prevails and the kalyANa gunas are in subtle form. Unless these characteristics spring up from a passive state the soul cannot expect the Lord to pardon or be alongwith Him.The vAtsalyam is the motherly love which accepts even the sins as a plus point This is a bit contracdictory to the characteristic of independence. Then how come these kalyANa gunas spring up? By pirAtti's purushakAram. PirAtti expresses to the Lord that who does not commit mistakes?(As she did for the sake of rAkshasis in the Asoka vanam). Is it not the duty of the parents to pardon and rescue the child? After convicing the Lord so , the Lord's kalyANa gunaNgaL springs up and not just vAtsalyam but also saulabhyam and saulabhyam come up. This is aptly summarised in swAmi piLLai lOkAchArya's mumukshuppadi-dhvayp prakaraNam. The pAsuram of thiru voi mozhi incisively reflects this: 'agala killEAn niRayum enRu ..... " thiru voi mozhi 6-10-10 Hence, piratti's togetherness and mediation actually precipitates the kalyANa gunas in the Lord. pirAtti who is mercy personified is motherlike and these influence the Lord's positive actions favouring the souls. Hence, the term gurukulavAsam which has been used in the commentaries of thiruppAvai by a.swAmi azhagia manavALap perumAl nAyanAr in ArAyirappadi. b. mUvAyirappadi -swAmi periya vAchAn piLLai c. nAlAyirappadi&.ErAyirappadi--swAmi Ai jananachAriyAr Please also refer to vishNu sahasranAmam 'lOkanAdho,mAdhavO, bhakthavatsalahA" lOkanAdhO- epitome of supremacy : mAdhavO- Being along with the pirAtti; bhakthavatsalaha- The vatsalyam as a result of being with pirAtti. The supreme being becoming vAtsalyam to the bhaktha after pirAtti comes in between.. Hope this clarifies the position. Thank you, vAnamAmalai padmanAbhan
