Guest guest
srimathe ramanujaya namaha, srimathe narayanaya namaha jai srimannarayana! Lord appears in two forms to satisfy his devotees who long for Him; listening to his divine attributes which changes into love, which later becomes impatience to have his darshan; which turns into a strong desire. Those two forms are his incarnations and archa murthi. His incarnations are only in those particular periods of time. The archa murthi form -we can always see him in the temples. Though in incarnations Bhagavan is like any other human being we have to believe in his omnipotence. Though the vigraha is inanimate we should accept his omnipotence in this also. The ardent devotees are protected by the Lord along with all his people. Those devotees, being in this body feel the satisfaction of being with lord when they see the archa murthi. They accept all the difficulties and diseases as his blessing. They are devoid of ego and pride. They feel lord in everything, in everyone and everywhere. They sing his glories, unable to contain themselves. They see lord Krishna everywhere and are always at bliss. To such people lord talks as archa murthi. The incarnations and the vigraha both are like a light. Some progress in that light but many try to extinguish light and get into troubles. Sisupa:la was destroyed similarly. When we see lord in archa form, if we do not have a doubt regarding the completeness that itself is very great. In Gita 4th chapter lord Krishna clarified arjuna’s doubts in 4 slokas, saying that He incarnates to protect the sajjanas along with their associates and to end the wicked who trouble them and propagate dharma through the sajjanas. Lord Krishna declares that he will be present as archa form and who ever believes in this will attain brahmaananda, "he will attain me and that is the end of the cycle of births and deaths." Andal is revealing her wish in this pasura, “Now we know your secret, you cannot reject us”. Lord Krishna said, “You sang very well, I troubled you in this cold till now. What more do you want other than parai”. “We are not at all tired. Singing your glories gave us all the strength. Because you said you would give we asked parai. We want you only”, they answered intelligently. "Hurdles have to go." “Enough , enough swami. What all had to be done was done by Yasoda. We won’t do anything. It is not at all difficult for you to remove the hurdles. What is there that you cannot do! Though you act ignorant you cannot hide your incarnation secret from us", sang thus Andal. “Do you want me or parai”, tell me which one?" asked Krishna. “Don’t give us to satisfy our desire. If you ask us to take parai, we won’t say no. Actually we want YOU only. If you give us parai we will accept that too as we cannot reject anything you give us. Please bless us”, thus sang Andal praying Lord Krishna seeking parai for elders and Lord Krishna Himself for our sake. "oruththi" means advitheeyam. It denotes 'ashtakshari maha mantram'. Bhagavan is mantra:dheena. If we perform the japa as defined by sastas, all our wishes will be satisfied by lord. This mantram is in the hands of our acharya. Lord Srimanarayana is to astakshari as is Lord Krishna to Yasoda. We sing Lord's glories so that we are carried through this ocean of samsara and attain Lord! andal divya thiruvadigale saranam! adiyen ramanuja dasaha jai srimannarayana!
