Jai Sriman Narayana!

paramAtmA(star-aSwini) = The one who has no soul above Him (The highest one).

poem : periya tirumozhi - 2-10-7 ( of Sri Tirumangai ALwAr )

Brief interpretation with poem: If I realize the numerous efforts undertaken by

my Lord to protect me and if I can see the reason behind these (the immense love

that He has towards me), it will be clear that Only He is the paramAtmA and I am

just the Atma.

poem in english : 1) The Lord who destroyed the rutted elephant,

2) ripped open the jaws of the horse,

3) Killed the seven bulls,

4) uprooted the marudu trees,

5) broke the approaching cart (SakatAsurA),

6) conquered the wrestlers,

7) The one who became poison to the wicked kamsA,

8) I have seen that Supreme Lord at the divya dESham of TirukkOvalUr where the

dark trees exhibit white pearls and lush green leaves; where the fruits are

given out in fully ripened red colour; where the nectared gardens with Serundi

trees produce endless beautiful buds.

Detailed Interpretation :

1) The Lord who destroyed the rutted elephant : Killing of the elephant

"kuvalayApIDam" signifies the great help you did to me by destroying my false

ego and pride.

2) Ripped open the jaws of the horse : This act signifies you ripping apart the

firm belief in me, about the non-existence of you and your auspicious qualities.

Jai Sriman Narayana (To be continued...)
