Guest guest
SriKrishna Parabrahmane Namaha! Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha! Sri Krishna Bhagavan is testing the gopikas thus: “Heh! Great Souls! Welcome. What favour do you want from me? Tell me the reason for your coming here. Hope all are safe in Vrepalle. You came to the most dangerous woods of Yamuna where all wild animals dwell, in this dead of night. It is not safe for you to be here in the night. It’s against women’s nature. It’s not comfortable here. It’s also against dharma! Your mothers, fathers, sons, brothers and husbands would be worried not finding you and start searching for you. Some how you ventured to come! On these Yamuna river banks you have seen the magnificent woods full of flowers shining brightly in the full moon light. You have seen the beauty of tender shoots moving gently on the trees in the softly blowing winds of Yamuna. You have seen the beauty of this moon lit night. Since you have seen and enjoyed its grace, you go back now. You serve your husbands devoutly. Your children may be crying. The calves may be mooing. You feed your babies. Leave the calves with their mothers.” The gopikas did not come to see the beauty of the woods. Not that they did not know their duty to serve their husbands and take care of their children. Once they listened to the Venuga:na some unknown love had enforced them to leave their houses and come. Except for Lord Krishna’s divya mangala vigraham nothing was noticeable for them. Nothing was serviceable. But Sri Krishna is testing them how strong are they in their faith. (To be continued...) O:m Haraye:namaha! O:m Haraye:namaha! O:m Haraye:namaha! Jai srimannarayana! Ramanujamma Mudumbai Ramanuja Daasi.
