Sri: | Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:

 

Sutra 124:

The srI word can be extracted from its root through two

derivations as srIyate and srayate.

 

Sri PBA Swami's Sarartha Deepikai:

Rrom the root "srInj - sevAyAm", srI can be extracted through

two derivations. "srIyate iti srI:" - this is from the action

(karmaNi). "srayate iti srI:" - this is from the person doing

the act (karttri).
