Sutra 128:

Since Mahalakhsmi is the mother for all the chetanas and will not tolerate their

suffering, and She is also His consort and therefore is His delight, Her

mediation will always happen without hinderance.

Would Her mediation do this much?

 

Yes, for the following reasons. One, She is the mother of all chetanas ("akhila

jagan mAtaram") and because of that relationship She cannot tolerate their

suffering. Second, She is His divine consort and being very dear to Him, He

delights in Her and would listen to Her ("piththar panimalar mEl pAvaikku").

Therefore, Her mediation does not stop even for the smallest moment.

 

In order to mediate, a person has to have the following two qualities. They

should have great love for those on whose behalf they mediate. And with the

person with whom they mediate with, they should have the ability to debate and

win. Both these qualities are abundantly present with Sri Mahalakshmi.
