Sri: | Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama:

Sutra 143:

The qualities of protection and enjoyment (which are seen

as the tool and use of the divine weapons and the crown) can

be seen by us in the divine form of the Lord (that was talked

about in the previous sutras).

Sri PBA Swami's Sarartha Deepikai:

For those who seek Him as the means and the end, the reason

behind the means is the quality of protecting and the reason

behind the end is the quality of enjoyment. These are both

sen in the divine form of Sri Ranganatha. Protection is seen

in the divine weapons that assist in it and in the divine

crown that stands for it. These as well as the abhaya hasta,

the divine smile and the divine feet each stand as the

height of beauty and as such show enjoyment.

Thus, the meanings of the nArAyaNa term have been explained.
