Guest guest
Sri Krishna ParabrahmaNe: Namaha! Srimathe: Ramanujayanamaha! Gopikas prayed to Govinda, “Oh! Lord! Please don’t speak to us so cruelly! We renounced everything and reached your lotus feet. We came to you with uncontrollable love. Kindly accept us. Don’t leave us. Accept us like Bhagavan accepts those ji:vas that reach his Lotus Feet with incessant love and devotion severing all their attachments with this mundane world.” Here from this simile we notice that the gopikas have not come to Sri Krishna with sensuousness. They are comparing themselves to ‘mumukshuvus’ and Srikrishna with the ‘A:dipurusha’. “Oh! Lord! You, the dharmave:ttha instructed us that ‘swadharma’ for ladies lies in following their husbands, children and relatives. We know dharma. While practising dharma we realised that ‘a:thma’ is precious than this body and You are the ultimate and the most precious than this ‘a:thma’. So we have come to you. For those that exist in this body – body is dear. In this mundane existence – a:thma is even dearer. You, the indweller for the a:thma, is the dearest. All these relationships last till the body lasts and the duty to serve them ends with the body. Even when there is body or no body, Your relationship with this a:thma is eternal. This is not due to a single reason. It’s natural. Hence loving You, serving You and be with You are a natural phenomena or dharma for us. All those erudite experienced scholars rest their incessant love and devotion in You alone!” O:m Haraye:namaha! O:m Haraye:namaha! O:m Haraye: namaha! To be continued... Jai srimannarayana! Ramanujamma Mudumbai, Ramanujadaasi.
