Dear SrI Viswanathan,

It is sarvaha (all).

The next name is Sarvaha (or Sharvaha). This I have posted to the group already.

Currently we are in the 4th slOka -

sarvah Sharvah Sivah sthANuh bhUtAdihi...

These basically reflect upon the auspiciousness of Lord SrIman Narayana and How

He bestows happiness and peace and removes the obstacles of His devotees. He is

known as Sivasya Sivaha (The Siva of All SivAs). Then in sthANuhu - His

unchanging nature is explained - Unchanging quality of always confering bliss

and happiness on His children.

In bhUtAdihi it is said that the souls those cognize these great qualities of

the Lord - Who only is the giver of real happiness and prosperity - long to

realize Him. He is the one seeked by His devotees. And He Himself has the

capability to take such souls to the highest position (beginning) of eternal

service and togetherness with Him. He has the beginning with respect to the

bhUtAs. This is roughly the context of these SlOkAs as presented by our srI

ParaSara Bhattar.

bhOgyAmrutam tries to integrate the meanings of ViShnu sahasranAmam with the

divya prabandha pASurams. In doing so, an effort is made to bring out the intent

of the pASuram and the deep feelings of ALwArs in the context of the nAma under

consideration. Also integration is done with the context in which Sri ParASara

Bhattar presented the meanings. The main objective of bhOgyAmrutam is to enjoy

the viShNu sahasranAmam along with the divine songs of our ALwArs. While doing

so, some nAmAs are interpreted in as many different ways as possible, without

providing a contradiction either to our philosophy or to the original work of

Sri parASara Bhattar. Whats presented is - in what other different ways we can

enjoy the same nAma, while also taking the context of SrI ParASara Bhattar into

full account.

I will give an example : sthANuhu which is going to be posted soon means the one

who is unchanging in His nature (of giving all the good). It has been

interpreted with a pASuram from TiruvAimozhi. The literal meaning of the nAma

(the immovable one) is brought out in the interpretation along with the main

meaning - "He is immovable or immutable in His quality of giving the highest

good to His people".
