Guest guest
hare krishna! I would like to know one thing please.I worship Lord Krishna and I really adore Him.I heard that if one takes initiation in the Jeeyar sampradayam one has to worship "Vaikunta Narayanulu" only i.e the deity you worship should be "Vaikunta Narayanulu".As a Guru,I really admire His Holiness Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and anyday I would like to take initiation from Him.But the above aspect keeps bothering me. It may be an insignificant doubt but if it is cleared it will give me clarity of thought concerning many things. thank you hare krishna
Guest guest
Srimathe Ramanujaya nama: Dear Devotee, Humble pranams to you. You don't have to worry over it. You can continue to worship Lord Krishna. One can have one's own favorite form/manifestation of Sriman Narayana and worship as it is much easier for the mind to concentrate than on Sriman Narayana who is "parathvam" beyond the ken of speech. The only thing is one has to know(from AcAryA in detail)that Sriman Narayana is "sarvam/everything" and SriRama,SriKrishna are all manifestations of Sriman Narayana as an incarnation. It is only Narayana manthram which gives the "exact" knowledge of the relation between cit (self/sentient),acit and Ishwara(Sriman Narayana)and hence it is superior to the other two manthras namely vAsudeva and vishNu. Best example is Sri Ramanuja whose favorite God was Sampath KumAran of TirunArAyaNapuram temple,Melkote. Not only that even AzhvArs of SriVaiShNava tradition have extolled and sought refuge in arca and vatAra form of Sriman Narayana. My favorite God is Srirama and also SriranganATha. This worship doesn't stand in the way of my understanding of Sriman Narayana's supremacy. I don't know if I conveyed the right message. If anything is wrong, please forgive me. Best regards NC Nappinnai > I would like to know one thing please.I worship Lord Krishna and > I really adore Him.I heard that if one takes initiation in the > Jeeyar sampradayam one has to worship "Vaikunta Narayanulu" only > i.e the deity you worship should be "Vaikunta Narayanulu".As a > Guru,I really admire His Holiness Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji and > anyday I would like to take initiation from Him.But the above > aspect keeps bothering me. Guest guest
Dear Bagawatha Sree Vidya You are in chaste company of Azwars and Anjaneya. Anjaneya refused to go with Sri Rama because Sri Rama was not present in that vibhava form is Sri Vaikuntam. ThondaradiPodi Azwar in his Thirumalai says he has no use for Sri Vaikuntam if he can be at Sri Rangam Peria Kovil. on top of all this Nammazwar has said thanca maagiya thanthai thaayodu thaanu maayavai allanaay, enca lilama rarku lamudhal moovar thammuLLu maathiyai, anci neerula katthuL LeergaL! avani vanenRu koozEnmin, nenci Nnaal_ninaip paanya vanavan aagum neeLkadal vaNNanE. TVM - 3.6.9 You may want to avail of a book by BSS Iyengar on TVM to understand this pasuram in detail. Here Nammazwar is assuring that Sriman Narayana takes whatever form we contemplate upon HIM for our sake. There is no worry at all. However, I must also share that, Sriman Narayana although known by a thousand names is the first and only cause regardless of the name we use. All our love, chants reach HIM and HIM and only HIM - "Sarva Deva Namaskara Kesavam Pratigachhati" adiyen anandavalli dasan
