But neither the ministers nor the purohiths would ever dare to escort him to the

city. They would directly admit their inability. Then it would be decided to

send some devadaasis to bring Rishyasringa to the capital. When he would be

brought into the city by the devadaasis, Romapaada would give him his daughter

Santha in marriage. Thus Rishyasringa happens to be the son-in-law to Dasaratha

too. I heard Sanathkumaara predicting that Rishyasringa would conduct the yajna

and help Dasaratha in getting his desire for male children fulfilled. Hence we

should bring Rishyasringa to Aodhya and perform this yajna under the aegis of

this maharshi." Thus Sumanthra concluded his narration to Dasaratha. Then

Dasaratha enquired him how the devadaasis could bring the maharshi to the town.

Then Sumantra continues to relate the episode thus...
