Guest guest
QUESTION: Jai Sriman Narayana! Our tight schedule can be very cruel to our devotional activities, specially for a fallen one like me. Adyien works in a hospital far from home. Sometimes because of the traffic, the boss and various situations, I am not able to be back in time to perform the afternoon sandhya that is VITAL for us. In this sense, What can I do when I arrive a little bit late for the regular sandhya? What could be the less harmful way? Is there a schedule tolerance for Sandhya? Ramanuja dasan, Raghuram ANSWER: Priya Sriman Raghuramji! Jai Srimannarayana! It is wonderful that you are interested in performing the Sandhya Vandanam regularly. Do morning Sandhya Vandhanam and evening Sandhya Vandhanam also properly. The problem is only with the Madhyahnika Sandhya Vandanam, right? It is not a problem, you can perform it immediately after morning Sandhya vandanam is over or a:ra:dhana is over. We attract the afternoon sun to the morning and finish the afternoon sandhyanam. Instead of skiping it totally, this is the better solution. If that is not possible, then you can perform madhyahnikam, after returning from office in the evening. Then you need to finish the evening sandhya first and then the madhyahnika sandhya with a prayaschittam of few more gayathri manthra japam. =chinnajeeyar=
