“In this world either husbands or children give happiness on a particular day.

But they will be the cause of grief some other day. You are the eternal relative

and You are the giver of incessant happiness. Heh! Varada! Heh! Eeswaraa! Bless

us. After ages, we got fixed with a strong desire for You. Kindly don’t break

it. Our manas has been stolen by You. It is not getting ready to perform the

routine duties. Our hands do not agree to serve anyone else other than You. Our

feet are not willing to take a single step away from Your Lotus Feet. How can we

go from here?

 

Heh! Krishna! Please appease our mental thirst - resulting from the unbearable

separation from you - with your smiling nectar laden lotus lips, with your

mischievous looks, and with that of your sweet song. It’s fine if you agree! If

you don’t agree for this, then, the fire of separation would any way end this

life and eventually, we reach your lotus feet. Either with this body or without

this body we don’t reach any thing else than Your Lotus Feet.

 

Your lotus feet are dear to the rishis in the woods. For Mohter Lakshmi they are

a joy. Such lotus feet came to our clan to bless us and are touched by us. They

made us blissful. Since then enjoying any mundane mean association became

impossible for us. Mahalakshmi has attained the greatest honour of your heart as

her seat. But only the Thulasi that dwells at your lotus feet is accepted by

the devotees with respect. The gods like Brahma keep aspiring for the grace of

Lakshmi. Being in such coveted position SriMahaLakshmi, longs for the sevice of

the pollen dust of your Lotus Feet. We are also craving for such service of your

lotus feet.”
