Guest guest Posted March 8, 2004 Report Share Posted March 8, 2004 Dear Bhagavathas, Following the press release by Kanchi Shankarachariar that, "Tridandi Jeeyar is not a mataadipathi, but just a preacher like a father in a church", which has been brought out by many devotees to this group, all the Acharyas from Tamil Nadu have pledged their support to HH Sri Tridandi Jeeyar Swami. HH Sri Varadha Yathiraja Jeeyar from Sriperumbudur has already given a press realease, published in Andhra Pradesh (Telugu), in this regard. Since this was published in Telugu, and not in Tamil, I request the Bhagavathas from Andhra to please translate this from your news papers for us. Lawyer Sri Ramaswamy,has taken charge of all the legal issues. On 16th (Almost confirmed) March 2004, there is press conference arranged in which all the Sri Vaishnavas, (including matadhipathis, Acharya Purushas, Scholars, and other Bhagavathas) are to participate and take care of the proceedings. Note : A request to the Bhagavathas from Andhra Pradesh. It would be great help, if you can get a copy of the press release by Varadha Yathiraja Jeeyar, from the Telugu newspapers and translate it for us.
