There the rishi’s son appeared resplendent like the god of fire standing beside

Romapaada. The king received them with joy and honored Dasaratha well and

treated them with due respect. He introduced him to the rishi’s son Rishyasringa

and told him of their intimacy and relationship. Then Dasaratha too told

Rishyasringa about their association. He prayed to Romapaada to send

Rishyasringa along with Saantha to his kingdom. Romapaada agreed to it. He

requested Rishyasringa to go to Dasaratha’s kingdom accompanied by his wife to

fulfill his wish. Accepting his proposal Rishyasringa followed Dasaratha to his

kingdom. Romapaada embraced Dasaratha lovingly and bid him farewell. They both

felt happy. Dasaratha sent word to his people that they were arriving there

along with Saantha and Rishyasringa. The messengers reached there well in

advance and got the whole city decorated and got all the roads wetted and

decorated with flags. All his subjects received him with delight playing

instruments like conches and dundhubhis. After entering the city Dasaratha took

them to the queen’s palace and worshipped him as ordained in the sasthras. All

the ladies of the palace felt happy on Saantha’s visit to the palace along with

her husband.
