Divine Justice! Another attempt by TTD to erase our culture and history foiled.

Ajeya Kallam (E.O) please step down! You have done enough damage to Sanathana

Dharma! We request the State Government to suspend this demon and get all other

rakshasas behind this destruction and all supporters of this destruction to be

put in jail for violation of Vedic Dharma.

TTD is paying hefty sums to various priests and peetams to divide the community

and forcing them by using bribes to support the destruction and the 4th prakaram

project. TTD is making them say that all things are happening as per Agama which

is totally false.

Shame on TTD! The British did the same thing to India. Devotees, please don't be

misled by the mis-campaign of TTD. They are not really doing the projects to

help devotees. They are doing these projects to swindle the Lord's money. Let

the greed of money not touch any devotee of Lord Venkateswara! Let us all become

selfless servants of the Lord.

TIRUPATI,

AUG. 11.

After a prolonged legal battle, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on Wednesday

lost a civil suit it had filed against the `Tallapaka' family, the descendants

of the saint poet, Annamacharya. The suit relates to a land dispute between the

Tallapaka family and the TTD covering an extent of 28.58 acres spread over three

survey numbers in different places on the Tirumala hills. This includes a single

chunk of 27 acres situated in one survey number near Parvetmandapam.

According to Tallapaka Raghavan, the counsel for the family, the TTD had filed

an appeal in 1996 before the Supreme Court seeking orders setting aside the

orders of the Division Bench of the High Court confirming the title deed in

favour of the Tallapaka family. But the Supreme Court, besides confirming the

title deed in favour of the Tallapakas, directed the Civil Court to frame a

preliminary issue as to the maintain ability of the suit under Section 14 of the

Inam Abolition Act. The Apex court also asked the Civil Court, Tirupati, to

confirm whether or not it was barred by the principles of

`resjudicata/extoppel'. It also fixed a timeframe of six months to the Civil

Court to complete the case. Following this, the case was remanded to the Civil

Court which after verifying the records and hearing the arguments of both the

parties has concurred with the opinion of the Supreme Court (the civil court) on

the `resjudicata/extoppel' aspect and dismissed the TTD's writ petition th! us

ending the protracted legal battle fought in two rounds-- between 1982-95 and

1996-2004.
