Guest guest
Dear Srinath and others, HH Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji Maharaj has started several initiatives in this regard. Gita Jyothi, Krishnum Vande Jagadgurum and many events over the past 25 years were in these lines. As part of Gita Jyothi "Worship your own and Respect All" programme, religious heads from all sampradayams were bought together, advised and counselled. Please see the most recent Sarva Vaishnava Samgosthi held where over 300 Swamijis from all over India attended. Several resolutions were passed. Ahobilam Jeeyar had boycotted the great function after he had talks with Kanchi Jayendra Saraswathi (which was actually very unfortunate). There are a few other 'popular' swamis who couldn't make the event. Some pictures can be found at --- http://www.acharyavaibhavam.org/PhotoGallery/VaishnavaSamgoshti/index.htm http://www.chinnajeeyar.org/sarvavaishnav_photos.htm The common program, the agenda, the programs for execution have already been defined as part of the Sarva VAishnava Samgosthi. The only support we can do I think is work on mobilizing funds so that this committee can meet atleast once or twice or thrice every year. We need a fund of aroound US $200,000 per year to support such events to begin with. Jai Srimannarayana! Ramanujam Varada Srinivasa Thatta Dear All, Sreemathe Ramanujaya Namaha: This is an excellent suggestion. can all the Vaishnavagroups on the internet form a committe to work as an agitating group to pave way for a much wider discussions on this subject. A model code of conduct and a common minimum programme can be worked out to start kick start this approach. Can we rise beyond our narrow outlook and widen our vision to greater vistas? This will be an excellent service to Emberumanar Sri Ramanuajar Himself. This is a poser to members of all groups. Adiyen, Dasan, Ramanujam. >Srinath Venkatakrishnan <srinath_venkatakrishnan> >ramanuja, , > > Sri Vaishnava Committee >Mon, 16 Aug 2004 05:34:02 +0100 (BST) > >Dear All, > >Referring to all recent problems against Tirupathi Temple and other common Sri Vaishnava issues, adiyEn would like to share my view. > >1.
