Guest guest
Srimathe Ramanujaya namaha: Mangalasasanams to Alwars and Acharyas. Recently it so happened by the krupa of Lord Srinivasa to visit Tirumala. We walked up the hills. Really i cried seeing people walking with chappals and eating all non-satvic food sold there. Already i was sunk with deep sorrow before reaching up the hills. Going there my sorrow even more worsened when i saw the 1000 pillared mandapam being destroyed. Every where huge cottages which made ananda nilayam to be seen down. Previously we used see up to have glimpse of Ananda Nilayam. Really pathetic. People come there as though to visit a tourist place rather than pilgrimage. We went for kalyana Utsavam where we were made to stay in some hall. Near that hall we saw the rooms and chairs which were made as arrangements for people to sit while standignin the queue. Those chairs, huge fans and tv sets are all rusted and going waste. What a waste of money. Kalyana Utsavam is performed for more than 5 to 10 thousand people. No satisfaction of worshipping lord. As you go inside to have darshan of Thirumalai appan tears rolled down because people who are there to say "Jarugandi" should have some ethics when people come there longing to seehim. Their job is just to push us. I wonder since they are there how they develop this "Rajasic" quality of pushing us. How long we are going to be there. Maximum 2 or 3 min. In this if they can leave us peacefully concentrating on HIM it is fine. Otherwise when they push you you lose concentration balance and try not to fall on anyone. This they do on elderly people also. I really felt that Lord is amidst of people who are not having any faith or just doing what the management is saying. I felt that HE is lonely there. Or I am leaving someone who is very dear and near to me. I felt like taking Perumaal with me. I prayed to "Alarmel mangai Urai Maarbha" to save himself through us. So hope GOD will direct us give us strength to fight for HIM. Adiyen, Revathy (Bangalore)
Guest guest
As long each Hindu Community refuses to acknowledge its ownership to the long list of traditional Temples, that were under its custody and as long as a undemocratic constitution of India, that negates the basic rights of Hindus, to have a say in their affairs, and to have control over their Temples, such things are bound to take place. One has to move on from the overtly Religious plane to socio-legal-political realities and tackle the issues.Alas Hindu even do not know that the constitution is negatively biased against them! Thanks to the education system! > Recently it so happened by the krupa of Lord Srinivasa to visit Tirumala. We walked up the hills.
