DASAKAM 26; FISHY SONGS (http://www.sulekha.com/expressions/articledesc.asp?cid=253453) Dear Friend Namaskarams/Vanakka of an Iyer (sankar) from Calgary, Canada. I found your web page interesting and am seeking your help in connection with a book on GAJAS that I am editing for Motilal Banarsi dass http://www.mlbd.com/aboutus.asp The central theme of the book is the role of the elephants in religion, politics, art and literature. MLBD is the leading Indian Publishers on Sanskrit and Indology since 1903 and has an impressive list of scholarly publications on a wide range of disciplines. I am looking for contributors to the book which I am tentatively calling GAJENDRA MOKSHAM – SECOND INNINGS. Gajendra Moksham is a central theme to Vaishnava thought and philosophy and I invite Sri Sriman Narayana Jeeyar Swamiji' or someone deputed by him to contribute an article on that theme. I do hope and pray that Swamiji would kindly accept my invitation. It is high time our Appam of Guruvayur plays a second innings of Gajendra Moksham. Please pass on the word to others who might be interested in contributing. Looking forward to your reply Regards Sankar Sankar Iyer Overseas Editor Science India Calgary, Canada Tel: 403 284 3593
