Thank you for this outstanding posting based on the vya:khya:nams of Sri

Rangacharya. The idea that Ra:ma:nuja Sambhandam through the A:cha:rya is a

means to achieving paramapadam is indeed a common notion that has come into

vogue of late, along with the idea that Abhima:nam somehow implies our service

to A:cha:rya serving a causeway to our salvation. I have struggled with both of

these concepts as they would be contrary to our pa:ritantri:yam and the

fundamental tenet that God Alone is the Way to our Salvation.

 

The fact that abhima:nam is the Acha:rya's in his role as in instrument to the

Lord really clears things up.
