Guest guest
Our father of the Nation "Mahathma Gandhi" used to drink Goat's milk early in the morning. He claimed Goat's milk gave him the strength in the freedom struggle to drive the British out of India. Goat's milk is poised to have a comeback as a healthful dairy alternative to cow's milk. It has been used for years as an alternative for babies who can't tolerate cow's milk, but now it's entering the mass market with items such as goat milk butter. One of the main benefits to goat's milk is that it contains more of the essential fatty acids than cow's milk, which may make it more readily digested. People who can't tolerate cow's milk, can usually tolerate this kind of milk. Can Srivishnavas consume Goat's milk? Did our purva Acharyas allow it's consumption?
