Dear friend,

Jai Srimannarayana.

It is very good that you want to chant in a language with which you are familiar

rather than chanting ritualistically. YAmunAchArya's stOtra ratnam is considered

to be the literal and concise translation of divya prabandham (4000 verses).

Also it is approximately square root of 4000 (64 odd verses) in terms of

numbers. This is available in dEv nAgarI script in the net, I hope. Swami

Desika's dramidOpanishat tAtparya ratnAvaLI is an excellent work, which is again

a concise translation of ThiruvAimozhi of nammAzhwAr. This may be there in the

net.

Sri ParASara Bhattar has written ashtaSlOkI, commentary of vishNu sahasranAmam

and several stOtras. Ashtasloki is available in English at our website:

http://www.geocities.com/yatirajadasa/ashtasloki

I think Bhattar Swami's stOtras are also available in the net.

Sri PB Annagaracharya swami of Kanchi translated some of the prabandhams into

sanskrit. I procured a copy of nAcchiyAr thirumozhi in sanskrit from his

grandson's house and gave it to a learned scholar in Pentapadu, AP. Even Sri

Venkateswara suprabhAtam was written under the influence of AzhwArs, which you

must be knowing. Will try to come back with more info on the availability of

direct translations.
