Guest guest
Srimathe: Ramanujayanamaha! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale: Saranam!! In this story both Srirama and Sitha occupy and play equally important roles. Both of them demonstrate the behaviour of a man and woman and exemplify as the perfect man and ideal woman in the world. With the right practice of dharma, when the jna:na blossoms with His grace, the fruit of result, the thathva that would be attained by His grace is – SriRama Thathvam. “Sitha: Sri: rivaru:piNi” meaning Sitha as Sri: ; “Bhagava:n Na:ra:yaNo: de:vaha” Rama as Narayana are revealed. The prime purpose of human life is to attain Narayana with Sri:. This is called SriRamayanam because both their lives are narrated on an equal plane in this story. Thus only a human being is endowed with the wonderful opportunity for ‘Ravana Vadha’. The basic ground work required to realize this is recommended till here. A perfect practice of dharma gives one a crystal clear pure conscience and he would be able to realize his ‘swaru:pa’ and Bhagavan blesses him alone by appearing as ‘Nara’ in him. Dasaratha performed the yajna dutifully; worshipped Vasishta and Rishyasringa. Renouncing his ego he followed their directives. He could give away all the kingdom which could be said ‘his’ and all his dearest consorts too. To achieve that purity of mind the needed practice of ‘karma’ is the only means. Unless that purity of mind is not gained, Bhagavan would not emerge as ‘Nara’ from Dasaratha. (To be continued....) Jaisrimannarayana!
