Srimathe Ramanujayanamaha!

Though electricity runs throughout the current wires (cables), it comes out from

a particular point for our use. Similarly though Bhagavan is all pervading if he

wants to help someone, he comes nearer to them in a form thatis visible to them.

 

To show this –

Vishnuh = the all pervading,

upayaathaha = to be able to be seen by the devathas,

has come nearer to them.

 

If anyone seeks Bhagavan’s protection, He feels elated as if they had done some

favour to him. Knowing that the Devathas were seeking his protection he came

there and when he got that chance to help them He became resplendent with joy.

To let us know that it is said :

“upayaathaha , mahaadyuthihi”.

When one comes for protection if he comes without the needed weapons what is

the use! But He came as ‘sankha chakra gadaapaaNi’ ( bearing his weapons). Not

only that! He wore the pithaambaram too which none else has.

 

What is the reason for guarding the devathas thus? Is it for earning the fame?

Not at all! Since He is the owner of this whole universe, it is his duty to safe

guard his possessions and it is said in the word – ‘jagathpathihi’.
