Houston international festival is spotlighting INDIA this year (Next Week).

at IFest - 2005, organized by PRAJNA - JETUSA,

April 23rd is full, other dates are open as of now.

WHEN: Weekends April 23-24, April 30-May 1, 2005, Contest starts at 1 p.m. and

judging will begin at 4 p.m. daily

 

WHERE: At the Houston International Festival in Downtown Houston Daily contests

will take place in the Incredible India Zone located in Sam Houston Park (Bagby

& Dallas intersection).

WHAT TO EXPECT: You will be given chalk, white power and other colors for your

Rangoli. You do not have to bring anything except your creativity.

 

THEME: Design and color your Rangoli according to your own theme and write a

small description of what it depicts or why is it special.

 

Criteria for Evaluation is Color Combination, Creativity & Theme

 

TICKETS: Early bird advanced tickets are $7 and are on sale now through April 17

at Houston area H-E-B grocery stores, online at ::http://www.ifest.org or by

phone at 713-654-8808 ext. 290. Ticket prices are $10 after April 17 and at the

gate. Children under 10 free. Group Tickets - $6 each with a minimum purchase of

50 Parking

- Easy access parking in Houston's Theater District lots under the Festival
