Guest guest
Jai Srimannarayana! Likhitha Nama Japam- A Mamoth Japa Record in History. H.H. Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji has made the year 2005 memorable as the year of Likhitha Nama Japam of writing " OM NAMO VENKATESAYA". The target for this combined worldwide japam to write 11000 crores (110 billion i.e 11 followed by eleven zeros.) by his desciples and bhaktas, but hope it will exeed, surely. It is a sort of silent revolution which will tranform men to better human beings and the world a better place to live in. It is a prayer to the Lord Balaji to make us eligible to be liked by HIM. Although, this likhita japam is NOT for establishing any world records, it is such a gigantic task. These are some interesting facts about its size and magnitude: 1. 55 lakh books each containing 20,000 namas will be written. 2. There will be 22,000 groups which will contribute 50 lakhs or more, each. Assuming that it will take 2 hours to write 1000 namas on an average. Each group, collectively does nama japam 10,000 hours to reach target. The Bhaktas are really blessed to be assoiciated in this gigantic task. With Swamiji's blessings, many Vikasataranginis and other bhakta mandals have been spreading this message of "likhita Japam". 3. Costing one hour at a minimum of Rs. 10 per hour, this will be the one of costliest "OFFERINGS" of Rs. 110 crores to the Lord Balaji. 4. 22,000 names will be remembered forever in the japam who would have written 50 lakh either in group or individually. 5. The activity is being carried out by all sections of bhaktas; some residing in small huts in villages to others staying in very big palaces and also in many languages. 6. " Om Namo Venkatesaya" will take 10 bytes to store (Presuming for simple calculation ), the storgae space required for storing all the namas by the end of 2005 will be 1100 giga bytes of memory. Kindly correct me , if there are any mistakes. Compile some more intersting facts about this great and divine activity.
