Guest guest
Sri Raghunandana Parabrahmane Namaha! Srimathe Ramanujayanamaha (18 sarga 1 to 11 slokas) Sriraama Avathar. Aswamedha and Putrakaameshti yagas were concluded. All the devathas left to their respective abodes after receiving their shares of sacrificial oblations. Dasaratha left for his capital, along with his queens, attendants, army and vehicles, after finishing his deeksha at the ritual ground by the river Sarayu. All the kings had left to their kingdoms after being felicitated fittingly by Dasaratha. King Dasaratha entered his palace, honoured and worshipped Rishyasringa and Santha. They both again went back to Romapaada in Angade:sa. Out of respect, Dasaratha sent some army to accompany them to that kingdom and he too went some distance to bid them farewell. Thus after all the people had left to their places, the king awaited anxiously for the arrival of the princes. Six seasons have passed off thus, after the completion of the yajna. In the twelfth month, in the month of Chaitra, on the Navami day (9th day), the ruling star that day being Punarvasu whose presiding deity was Adithi, while five planets were in exaltation, when Jupiter with the Moon was in the ascendant Cancer, Kausalya gave birth to SriRamachandra in the afternoon. In the Karkaataka Lagna during the auspicious time, Kausalya delivered a son who is the possessor of the whole universe and who is adored by all the worlds. SriRama was born with the half amsa of Lord Vishnu with all the divine attributes. (To be continued..) Jaisrimannarayana! Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam!!
