Guest guest
Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam! Lord had given us a good body, nice senses and provided us with a life planner as a guide. They are srithis, smruthis, sastras etc. Following them is good and acting against them is bad. They are sukrutham and dushkrutam respectively. Whether good or bad, it is called ‘karma’. There is a system prescribed by the Sastra to be followed by any chetana - who is accompanied by the karma - to practice this karma and experience the results. Karmaas are of three types: 1. Sanchitam – It is a mass amassed over in the past millions of births. 2. Praarabdham – From this sanchitam, what is to be experienced in this present birth with this present body in different stages like in sleep, dreams or while awake - the papa punyas that cause us grief or happiness – is praarabdha. 3. Aagaami – What ever earned while doing in the present birth will be intended for experience in the future – it is ‘Aagaami’. Our elders had given us a perfect example to understand them - a hunter, arrows and quiver. Praarabdham is like the arrow shot by the hunter. It will have to hit the target! 1.The hunter has shot an arrow. 2.He holds another in his hand. 3.There are many more in his quiver. The hunter had shot an arrow. The enemy suddenly fell at his feet and prayed for refuge. The hunter is a highly kind person. So he won’t hit him with the second. No question of taking them out from the quiver either. But the first one which was shot already would hit the target surely. 1. Shot arrow is - Praarabdham 2. Arrow in the hand is – Aagaami 3. Arrows in the quiver - Sanchitham The praarabdha karma would exhaust if we experience with this body. If one is a complete ‘SaraNaagatha’ then - would reach His abode after this body falls. With Bhagavan’s grace a ‘Saranaagatha’s earlier sins would be wiped off. The future karmas would be driven off. Thus once the papa - punyas exhaust, after this body collapses, the saranaagatha would become a ‘Muktha’ and attain His ‘saayujyam’ and enjoy the eternal bliss of Perumal’s kainkarya.
