Guest guest
Sri Raghunandana ParabrahmaNe namaha! Srimathe Ramanujayanamaha!! It’s a great privilege to share my feelings with our esteemed bhagavath bandhus. HH’s blessings took me all the way to Badarinath to participate in Acharya Seva Yatra. It was a tremendous unforgettable experience. We, a batch of ten ladies started our journey to Badari on 25th and reached Rishikesh on 27th morning. HH Sri Sri Sri Jeeyar Swamiji with perumal and the parivaram arrived at the Jeeyar Mutt of Rishikesh minutes later. Soon we were there joining our voices too in Swamiji’s Ramayan parayan. Oh! What a fortune! How compassionate is HH to shower his grace on us! It is beyond my comprehension. We were in Sundarakanda. Swamiji’s explanation of each sarga was more ‘sundaram’! We were all carried away and soon were amidst the vanaras enjoying the delightful association of Ramachandra. Every scene was crystal clear before the mind’s eye. Our hearts were heavy at the agony of Srirama. We entered the yuddha kaanda. Oh! What a sanmaanam did Hanuman receive from Srirama on the successful completion of the task! Srirama gave Himself to Hanuman! What a matchless felicitation! Neither the penance nor their yearning could earn the rishies such a reward. The war - What a clash of valor! Even Ravana was not a light match for Rama. The grievous war between the giants was dreadful. Here we were again blessed to receive the upadesam of Adithya Hridayam. Yes! After that, Srirama eradicated the evil, the daSakantta, Ravana. Dasaratha himself came down from the heavens to watch the great event and bless his son. Later Brahma’s sthuthi was a verbal expression to the feelings of all beings of the universe. Later we could participate in some sargas of Uttarakaanda where we learnt more about Ravana and Indrajeet. On 4th evening Swamiji spoke in Hindi to grace the Punjabi devotees who come every year to Badari and our ashram. We enjoyed every bit. On 5th evening our happiness knew no bounds when Swamiji did upadesam of Ashtasloki in the birthplace of the Mahamantra on Smt. Thiruvengalammagaru’s request. Swamiji gave us its essence too. Every day we had theertham and prasadam after the purNaahuthi in the morning and evening. Though it was biting cold there in Badari, all the volunteers were doing their best serving the devotees – with hot water to quench their thirst and steaming hot prasadam. We started back on 6th morning from Badari and on 7th from Rishikesh after taking HH Sri Sri Sri Jeeyar Swamiji’s blessings. Jai Srimannarayana! Ramanujamma rd.
