Guest guest
Sri Raghunandana Parabrahmane Namaha! Srimathe Ramanujayanamaha!! So it is told here: Baalyaath prabhruthi susnigdhaha lakshmanaha lakshmivardhanaha Raamasya lo:ka raamasya bhrathuh jyeshtasya nithyaSaha -It is showed that the association between Rama and Lakshmana is alike and the same forever. Fragrance attributes greatness to the flower itself. The light enhances the magnificence of the Sun Himself. Lakshmana was interested to be amiable to Rama than obtaining comfort to his own body. This is the natural relationship of the soul to Paramathma. For a jiva – Paramathma should be adorable than the body. Jiva should be dedicated to give delight to Paramathma alone. If a jiva is like this, it can be ascertained that its true nature is realized and can call him ‘affluent’. Because Lakshmana had realized his ‘swarupam’ and conducted himself in such a manner, Valmiki told about him - ‘LakshmaNo: lakshmi sampannaha’. When Rama went for hunting on his horse, Lakshmana used to follow him never leaving him alone. He always carried his bow ready to protect him incase any danger occurs. Outwardly it is said that Lakshmana protected him holding his bow. But inwardly it means - -As the Upanishad said, ‘praNavo: dhanuh’ – wielding the bow called the ‘PraNava’ he always took care that his relationship with Bhagavan is protected. In the PraNava, ‘A’-kaara denotes Rama, the ‘Ma’kaara signifies Lakshmana and the unbreakable relationship between them is indicated by ‘Ukaara’. Remembering such relationship and serving Lord at all the times, in all the places and in all conditions is the ‘aiswaryam’ (RICHES) for a jiva. To be contd... Jaisrimannarayana! Ramanujamma rd.
