Most of the renovation works have been undertaken by many kainkaryam minded devotees and is near completion. If anyone happens to be in India during that period, please visit the Temple during the samprokshanam. It will be once in a lifetime opportunity. Nacchiyar Koil is unique in the fact that it hosts the most famous "KAL Garudan" and along with being one among 108 Divya Desams very few Temples have enjoyed 100 pasurams sung by one Azhvar and Kalian (Thirumangai Azhvar sang 100 pasurams about this Divya Desam. The main deity is Srinivasar (Thirunarayur Nambi) and Thayar is Vanjulavalli. All are welcome to attend these celebrations. Adiyen Ramanuja Dasan 2) The second one is the renovation of Thel Azhagiya Singar (Narasimha Perumal who is one of the 5 main deities in Thiruallikkeni (Triplicane-Chennai). This Temple is called Pancha shethram boasting 5 main deities namely a) VenkataKrishnan, b) Lord Ranganatha, c) Ramachandra, d) Varadaraja e) NarasimhaPerumal or Thelazhagiya Singer. This is the uniqueness of this Temple. HH SriSriSri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami and JET India has taken the project of renovating this part of the Temple and the estimated cost is Rs 16 lakhs, out of which Rs 6 Lakhs has been collected.
